# Accessibility Statement — Bakery Lab > Accessibility statement of the Bakery Lab website: the WCAG 2.2 AA target, measures taken, known limitations, keyboard use and ways to give feedback. The accessibility of this site has been tested by Kaya Software and developed to WCAG 2.2 AA standards; everyone, including people with differences in vision, hearing, movement and cognition, can use it comfortably. ## Our commitment As Bakery Lab, we care that everyone can independently read and use our menu, allergen information, ways to order and contact details. Accessibility is not a feature added after launch; it is a rule we follow while preparing pages. ## Conformance status **WCAG 2.2 AA** Tested by Kaya Software Our site has been developed to level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 and tested by [Kaya Software](https://kayasoftsystems.com). In the scope tested (all pages, three languages, desktop and mobile screens and the admin screens), no non-conformance was reported by the automated checks (axe-core and Lighthouse). Because automated checks do not cover every criterion, we also continue manual tests with keyboard and screen reader. ## What have we done? - **Full keyboard use:** every link, button and form field can be reached with Tab; a clear focus outline is shown; the fixed top menu and buttons do not cover the focused item. - **Skip link:** every page starts with a "Skip to content" link. - **Screen reader support:** a correct heading order, region names, button and link names, table headers and status announcements (e.g. the allergen filter result) are provided. - **Color and contrast:** text and interface components meet at least the AA contrast ratio; information is never given by color alone. - **Zoom and reflow:** pages can be read when enlarged up to 200% and at 320 pixels wide without horizontal scrolling. - **Stopping motion:** animations and videos on the page can be stopped with the "Stop motion" button; if "reduce motion" is on in your device settings, motion never starts. - **Videos:** the videos on the site have no sound. The title of every video in the gallery is visible text; decorative background videos are hidden from screen readers and the information they convey is also in the adjacent text. - **Image alternatives:** informative images have descriptive alternative text; decorative images are hidden from screen readers. - **Languages:** Turkish, English and Kurdish pages are marked with the correct language tag. - **Accessibility menu:** with the menu at the bottom right you can adjust text size, spacing, contrast, color-blindness support, reduced motion and read-aloud to suit you; the settings are stored only on your device. The menu was developed by Kaya Software and is the first item reached with Tab on the keyboard. - **Touch targets:** buttons and links are large enough to select comfortably with a finger. ## Keyboard and assistive technologies - **Tab / Shift+Tab:** move forward / back. When the page opens, the first Tab offers the accessibility menu. - **Alt+Shift+E:** opens or closes the accessibility menu. - **Enter or Space:** opens and closes buttons and expandable headings (FAQ). - **Esc:** closes an open window, menu or enlarged image. - **Arrow keys, Home and End:** adjust the day / night comparison slider; you can also click the slider to put it where you want. We prepared the site with a standards-compliant structure so that it can be used with screen readers such as VoiceOver, TalkBack and NVDA. Real user tests with this software are ongoing. ## Known limitations - **Embedded map:** the map on the Contact page is provided by Google and its accessibility depends on Google. You can reach the same information through the text address, phone number and the "Get directions" link. - **Third-party sites:** links to Yemeksepeti, Trendyol Go, WhatsApp and social media take you to their own sites; the accessibility of those sites is the responsibility of the respective providers. You can also place your order by phone or WhatsApp. - **Menu photos:** the alternative text of product images is the product name; for detailed content information see the product description and the Allergen table. ## Evaluation method The evaluation was carried out by Kaya Software: before every release all pages are scanned in three languages and two screen widths with axe-core and Lighthouse; keyboard focus, 320-pixel reflow, text spacing and stopping motion are additionally tested with scripts. Manual tests with a screen reader are ongoing.
